(Asian American) Kids Say the Darndest Things

(Asian American) Kids Say the Darndest Things

A still from the trailer for HBO's 'East of Main Street: Small Talk.'

If you live in New York and enjoy the video above (and, really, how couldn't you enjoy the video?) we strongly suggest you head over to Asia Society on Park Avenue on Wednesday evening for a free screening of HBO's East of Main Street: Small Talk, a 20-minute short the network is pitching thusly: "Find out what it's like to be Asian American from the perspective of children in this fresh and funny special." If that doesn't hook you, perhaps the wine reception afterward will?

Go here to book your place at the event, and get Asian Pacific American Heritage Month started off right.

East of Main Street: Small Talk will also be airing on HBO Family throughout the month. You can find a schedule here.

Screening of East of Main Street: Small Talk, Wednesday, May 2, 6:30 p.m. Wine reception to follow at 7:00 p.m. Admission: Free. Details here.
