Three veteran players – Mi-Sook, Hye-Kyung, and Jung-Ran –are brought in to revive the Korean women’s handball team, which has the worst record out of all the previous national teams. When the dysfunctional group of over-the-hill players and surly teens qualifies for the Olympics, each member must discover their own fighting spirit –both on and off the court. Based on the achievements of the South Korean women’s handball team at the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics, Forever the Moment is director Yim’s first commercially funded film.
