New York Times Reviews 'Pilgrimage and Buddhist Art'

A New York Times review of the Asia Society Museum's "Pilgrimage and Buddhist Art" calls it "a deftly shaped exhibition," adding: "Although not especially large, the show spans vast swaths of land, from India to Japan, and time, from the first century A.D. almost to the present. Materially it’s cornucopian, with all manner of painting and sculpture and a North Face supply of pilgrim travel gear: rucksacks, hiking staffs and fanny packs, not to mention charts and maps, some cosmic, some not."
