The webinar will offer an expert assessment of the new complexities forced upon Japan by the global pandemic and the policy response, as well as present forward-looking scenarios. It is designed to help your strategic planning and stimulate you & your leadership team to capitalize on the new Japan opportunities. Each panelist will make a 10-12 minute presentation of their main concerns and ideas, followed by a discussion. We aim to have time for written-in questions toward the end of this one-hour session.

Kathy is vice chair of Goldman Sachs Japan, co-head of Macro Research in Asia and chief Japan equity strategist. She is a member of the Asia Pacific Management Committee and Goldman Sachs Japan Co., Ltd. Executive Committee and also helps oversee Launch With GS, Goldman Sachs’ $500 million commitment to narrow the gender investing gap.
She has been ranked No. 1 in Japan Equity Strategy by Institutional Investor multiple times and was chosen by The Wall Street Journal as one of the "10 Women to Watch in Asia" for her work on the "Womenomics" theme. In 2014, she was also named by Bloomberg Markets magazine’s “50 Most Influential” list.
Kathy is a board member of the Asian University for Women (AUW) Support Foundation, chair of the Board of Councilors (Japan) of the US-Japan Council, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of Keizai Doyukai and a trustee of The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii. She also serves on the Advisory Council for the Japan Society Fund Against Breast Cancer.

Robert Alan Feldman is Senior Advisor to the Research Department of Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities, where he has worked since 1998, focusing on thematic research on the Japanese economy. He also serves as a professor at Tokyo University of Science, in the Management of Technology program, where he has taught since 2017. Outside of work, he has served as a commissioner of the Japan-US Friendship Commission and has been a regular commentator on World Business Satellite, the nightly business program of TV Tokyo, since 2000.
Jesper Koll

Jesper Koll is the Senior Advisor of WisdomTree Investments, a global asset management company and ETF sponsor. Mr. Koll has been researching and investing in Japan since becoming a resident in 1986. For the previous two decades Mr. Koll served as the Managing Director of Research and Chief Strategist for major U.S. Investment banks - J.P. Morgan and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Koll has been serving on several government advisory councils, including Tokyo Governor Koike’s Global Financial Center initiative. He has written several books in Japanese, and is a member of the Keizai Doyukai, the Japan Association of Corporate Executives.
