COAL + ICE for Schools
Inspiring Climate Action through Art and Ideas
Exhibition Dates: 13 February 2024 through 11 August 2024
Location: Asia Society (725 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10021)
Attention educators: You're invited to bring student groups to Asia Society Museum for a free guided tour of COAL + ICE, an immersive photography and video exhibition. This visual journey focuses on the causes and effects of climate change and proposes creative solutions for a sustainable future. Asia Society will provide a guide (download here) to help teachers engage students on climate change topics before and during the visits.
Students of all ages are also welcome at our rich series of speaker events and performances over six months, primarily held in New York City, about creating our best possible climate future, including special activities for young minds.
Learn more at AsiaSociety.org/coalandice. COAL + ICE is co-curated by Susan Meiselas and Jeroen de Vries, and led by Orville Schell and Asia Society’s Center on U.S.-China Relations.
