Hollywood Movie "The Bourne Legacy" started shooting in the Philippine capital
MANILA, Philippines - Cast and crew of the upcoming Hollywood action thriller "The Bourne Legacy" started filming last week. The fourth part of the movie will be shot for a month in several places in Manila. The locations are in San Andres Street, streets in Remedios, San Andres corner Quirino and Taft Avenue, areas in Intramuros, Jones Brigde, and Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard.
Local actors and actresses were also included in various parts of the film. Actors and Actresses hired are Madeleine Nicolas, Ermie Concepcion, Lilia Cuntapay and several more. According to Lope ‘Jun’ Juban Jr., a Philippine producer, the reason why the film chose Philippines to be part of the movie is that they have seen the history of Philippine films and most especially the welcoming spirit of the Filipinos.
During the first day of the shooting in Malate tourist district, the head of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is in charge of fielding crowd control personnel to guide traffic enforcers.
Spokesman of the President, Edwin Lacierda, said that the movie will improve tourism and provide jobs for the Filipinos.
