April 12, 2022 — The marquee sixth edition of the Asia Arts Game Changer Awards India, held virtually this year, paid tribute to artists who have made a significant contribution to the development of modern and contemporary art in Asia and who inspire a deeper empathy and understanding of the world through their work. Honorees included Himmat Shah (Ark Foundation Asia Arts Vanguard Award 2022), Sumakshi Singh (Emami Art Asia Arts Future Award 2022), and Jasmine Joseph Nilani (DBF Asia Arts Future Award 2022). The awards were co-chaired by Pheroza Godrej, Sangita Jindal, Kiran Nadar and Radhika Chopra; hosted by Radha Mahendru, and featured musical performances by renowned Pakistani singer-songwriter and composer Zeb Bangash.
