A seemingly dormant volcano located on the border between Manchuria and North Korea (and the tallest peak on the Korean peninsula) is potentially capable of destructive eruptions, argued Dr. Moonsup Cho, Professor of Geology at Seoul National University, in a luncheon presentation here at Asia Society Korea Center.
