What is happening in Himalayas might be happening all over the world. it is inevitable. it is the cycle of nature. a particular species dominates the earth for a long time until they comsume all the resources and no longer survive on the diminishing resources of the planet. All this talk about waking up and doing something about it is just "TALK". no one can do anything. If humans are intelligent enough and want to survive for ever, they will find another planet with fresh new resources to colonize. any other solution is just delaying the inevitable.
