Documentary Film: 'Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry' Opening in SF
A prize-winning documentary about controversial Beijing artist Ai Weiwei opens soon in San Francisco. The film, Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry, has been screened at major international film festivals, including Sundance, where it won the Special Jury Prize in 2012.
The documentary follows Ai during his campaign to expose the shoddily built schools that collapsed as a result of the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan province. A Q&A after the screening will feature film director Alison Klayman and Cheryl Haines, Ai Weiwei's representative.
