Starting 2020, members can look forward to new wellness programs to improve on your fitness. In January, build your strength and mobility through White Crane Silat, a Chinese-Indonesian Martial Art and Movement Practice, by Flo, co-founder and trainer of PGB Hong Kong. Stephanie will continue to guide you through the singing bowls meditation to relax and calm your mind after the fitness workout.
Improve your wellness with your fellow members!
Explore the Practice of White Crane Silat with this introductory class
Activate your energy and unlock the Freedom to Move effortlessly through a simple yet effective mobility sequence and basic drills (striking, kicking, floor work). Next, learn how to express Mind & Body through dynamic combinations and flowing whole-body movements of this traditional Martial Art. All movements are centered around health and are a meditation in motion. Lastly we bring movement back to a playful exploration of human connection through partner work (think dialog through movement).
PGB HK is part of the global PGB White Crane Silat community, which has made this traditional Practice available to the public since 1952.
Singing Bowls Meditation with Stephanie Luo
During the 45-min session, Stephanie will first guide you to focus on your breathing and body. While playing the Singing Bowls, she will guide you to set your intention for the session. By intention, it can be as simple as "to relax" or "to be open". For the rest, all you need to do is to allow the vibration to work its way through your body. At the end of the session, your body, mind and spirit will be relaxed, awakened and energized.
