Co-presented with the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Asia Society Hong Kong Center brings to our historical premises the fourth performance in a series of lunchtime concerts, all with free admission. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life and enjoy a soothing Chinese music program that has been carefully put together purely for your listening pleasure. The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra celebrates its 35th anniversary in Hong Kong this year; it is committed to offering excellence in Chinese music with a contemporary momentum and a professional spirit. A City Retreat runs monthly from September 2012, bringing together top-notch Chinese musicians to showcase different Chinese music repertoires, promoting and educating Chinese music to different sectors of the community.
*Concert will be held on Roof Garden, weather permitting.
