For more than 50 years, Asia Society has been at the forefront of connecting Asians and Americans to foster strong partnerships in culture, business, and global affairs. In 2011, the Asia Society launched the Global Leadership Initiatives program to identify, inspire and develop leaders across the Asia-Pacific region and to address our shared challenges, by convening face-to-face meetings, creating networks, promoting new ideas, and sharing best practices across disciplines.
Asia Society’s Global Leadership initiatives include the long-standing Williamsburg Conference, Asia 21 Young Leaders Initiative, Diversity Leadership Forum, and the Women Leaders of New Asia Initiative, along with the annual Asian Pacific Americans Corporate Survey, all of which leverage Asia Society's unique role and ability to foster strong Pan-Asian partnerships and leadership across the Asia-Pacific region and across different sectors.
The Asia 21 Young Leaders Initiative develops a critical mass of dynamic individuals, all under the age of 40, who will impact global affairs over the coming decades.
Asia Society's Diversity Leadership Forum provides a vital platform to take the discussion of corporate diversity issues facing Asian American professionals to the next level.
The Williamsburg Conference is the pre‐eminent gathering of leading Americans and Asians committed to strengthening US‐Asia relations, bringing top leaders from Asia and the United States together since 1971 to discuss the greatest challenges facing the Asia‐Pacific community.
Asia Society's Women Leaders of New Asia Initiative seeks to develop and promote a community and network of senior women leaders from the Asia-Pacific region across all sectors.
