Ching brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across the development and private sectors, with a focus on education reform, youth empowerment, corporate social responsibility and civil society engagement.

As an Asia 21 Fellow, she has cultivated a strong network across the Asia-Pacific region and has participated in various global leadership programs. Her expertise in strategic engagement and cross-sector relationships will enhance the programs at Asia Society Philippines. For more information about Ching, click here.

 Carlo Miguel Francia, Program Director 

Carlo is the current Program Director of Asia Society Philippines. He has a deep background in development and social and behavioral change communication, having led major projects related to HIV and tuberculosis control, universal health care, gender-based violence, mental health, and tobacco control.

Parallel, he also leads public relations and marketing efforts for a tech startup, and also represents the country’s biggest bridal magazine as its editor at large.

Carlo completed his Master of Arts in Media and Communication at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

 Aimee Faith Mapa, Finance and Admin Officer

Aimee is the Finance and Admin Officer of Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc. She specializes in and is responsible for disbursement transactions, payrolls, preparing and filing of taxes and government remittances, preparing financial reports, and assisting the auditors in facilitating the annual audit. 

Beforehand, she worked as a Senior Accounting Associate in a public firm for 4 years which refined her abilities in the field of accounting and taxation. With her strong knowledge of accounting systems, analysis, reporting, and organizational skills, she has handled working well with different types of companies. Aimee has also worked at a business consulting firm as an external accounting officer. With a solid educational foundation, she uses her passion to continually develop her skills and interests to succeed more in life. 

 Cindy Ramirez, Program Officer

Cindy is the current Program Officer at Asia Society Philippines, where she plays a vital role in the planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives across the organization’s thematic areas. She has extensive experience in the education and development sector, with strong capabilities in managing project information, coordinating multi-stakeholder engagements, and ensuring effective communication with program partners and beneficiaries.

Prior to joining Asia Society Philippines, Cindy was actively involved in programs that focused on youth empowerment and civic engagement. She supported initiatives that strengthened the capacity of youth leaders and organizations to participate meaningfully in political processes. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in delivering a national leadership training program designed to cultivate entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, and leadership among students from State Colleges and Universities across the Philippines.

 Angela Belonia, Assistant Program Officer

Angela is the Assistant Program Officer at Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc., where she supports the Managing Director, Operations Director, and Program Officer in the planning and implementation of the Center's programs and initiatives. 

She holds a BA in English Language Studies, graduating with Latin Honors from National University – Manila. Her previous experience includes internships in human resources and administrative management at National University and Realme Philippines.
