Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) / 外交部 (MFA)
MFA是负责中国政府外交政策以及与海外同行和国际组织交往的主要部委。保护和促进中国在世界范围内的利益，确保对外援助的便利符合中国政府的地缘政治目标。MFA较少参与“一带一路”的日常运作，但会解决特定项目需要外交干预和援助的问题。
