Purpose

Offers information about the history of China’s foreign aid and guiding principles for foreign aid.

MOFCOM should: 

  • Formulate foreign aid policies, regulations, and plans.
  • Examine and approve projects.
  • Manage project execution.

 

The Export-Import Bank of China (China Exim Bank) should: 

  • Assess projects with concessional loans.
    • Allocate and recover the loans.

 

Chinese Embassies and Consulates should: 

  • Directly coordinate and manage projects in recipient countries.
