- Prevent adverse environmental impacts.
- Implement an environmental impact assessment (EIA) system for electric power construction projects.
- Formulate regulations on engineering construction safety, occupational health, and environmental management.
- Coordinate efforts and solve major issues in these areas.
- Ensure a supervision unit establishes a safety supervision, assessment, and operation system.
- Carry out regular safety inspections.
- Enact "greening" measures in offices and areas surrounding project sites to improve the environment.
- Restore the environment if damage occurs during construction.
