Dee Lee is the founder of the Inno Community Development Organisation and the president of the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA). Founded in 2007, Inno has been working with over 80 international brands as a worker's hotline under the framework of business and human rights. Inno has helped resolved more than 30,000 cases on forced labour, child labour, gender-based violence etc., and has received numerous regional and international awards. After working in hundreds of factories to fight discrimination against people living with hepatitis, Dee was elected to be the president of WHA to lead 400 patient groups to end viral hepatitis affiliated with the World Health Organisation. He personally joined the World Health Assembly in 2015 to push for the adoption of Ending Viral Hepatitis in the current Global Health Sector Strategies before 2030. In the new normal of the global funding cut, Dee is now working closely with the crypto industry to set up a decentralized funding mechanism for the nonprofit frontline practitioners. He is an alumni of the International Leadership Programme (IVLP) and was recognized as one of China's Top 10 Innovative People in the Charity Sector in 2018. Dee is a human rights defender for the vulnerable in the workplace and a builder in the decentralised space working to create a better nonprofit world.
