Program Ticket Purchases

Program tickets may be purchased in-person at Asia Society Texas, by phone at 713.496.9901, and online via the Upcoming Events page.

Ticket prices vary by program. Effective January 1, 2024, students (college and graduate school) and educators enjoy $10 tickets for many of our programs. Valid school-issued I.D. is required at check-in at our Guest Services desk.

Visitor Guidelines

Please turn off all pagers, cellular phones, personal organizers, watch alarms, and other sound-emitting devices before the start of the in-person program. Cameras and recording equipment may be strictly prohibited.

No food or beverages are allowed inside The Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater or any other venue, unless otherwise stated.

Smoking is not permitted inside.

Mailing Tickets / Will Call

Asia Society Texas does not mail tickets.

Ticket holders may bring their print-at-home ticket or check in at the Guest Services desk. Will Call generally opens one (1) hour prior to the start of an event and remains open until 30 minutes after the start of an event.

Latecomers

Please be aware that all in-person programs start promptly. To minimize disruptions, guests arriving after the start of a program will be seated a suitable interval designated by Asia Society Texas staff in close consultation with the artists and speakers. We recommend ticket holders arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of an event to find parking and safely take their seats.

Refunds and Exchanges

Tickets are nonrefundable, except in cases of postponed or canceled events. Should a program be canceled or postponed, ticket holders will be contacted with options to exchange tickets for a different event, request a refund, or convert their ticket purchase to a donation in support of Asia Society Texas’ purpose. A service charge may apply. For more information, please call 713.496.9901.

Parking

Guests who pre-purchase parking should insert a credit card upon entry to the AST lot, accessible from Caroline or Austin Streets. While checking in at the Guest Services desk, Guests will be issued an exit ticket which they should insert upon departure from AST’s lot. Since credit cards are only charged upon exit, the credit card used upon entry will not be charged. Please contact Guest Services at 713.496.9901 with any questions.

Parking is $7.& AST members pay only $5 for parking. Please use your credit card to access our parking, and visit our front desk where the actual charge of $5 will be made on your card.

Conduct, Liability, and Image Policies

Asia Society Texas management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disruptive or out of compliance with Asia Society Texas’ rules and regulations. Guests in attendance assume all liability for risk and danger incidental to the event. Participation in the event acknowledges your willingness to appear in audio, videos, or photographs taken in public areas of Asia Society Texas. These may be used for promotional purposes or for news coverage.  Titles, artists, dates and prices are subject to change.
