March 6, 2025 — Experts from the Asia Society Policy Institute's Center for China Analysis (CCA) discuss the Government Work Report delivered by Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the opening of the National People’s Congress’s annual parliamentary session. CCA Fellows Michael Hirson and Lizzi C. Lee and Senior Fellow Guoguang Wu unpack the Chinese government's targets for growth, inflation, and spending, as well as other major economic issues such as stimulus, trade, technology, and foreign investment.
