Navigating China’s EV Industry and Industrial Policy: Lessons, Challenges, and Global Implications
August 29, 2024 — The Asia Society Policy Institute’s Center for China Analysis launches its Third Plenum Reboot: China’s New Economic Policy Playbook series with a webinar examining China’s electric vehicle (EV) industry as a lens to understand the country’s technological and industrial transformation. The panel features Kyle Chan, postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University specializing in industrial policy and clean technology; AJ Cortese, senior research associate at MacroPolo focusing on Chinese technology and industrial policy; Arthur R.
