NEW YORK, September 28, 2022 — Ahead of the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Music Festival in October 2022, Asia Society hosts a program featuring live musical performances and a panel discussion. Composer and BMF 2019 Artist of the Year Zhou Tian kicks off the program by showcasing his compositions Song From a Lost Time and Toccata, performed by the Jasper String Quartet. This is followed by a panel discussion on the impact of the festival’s quarter-century of continuous international artistic exchange with musicians Jamie Bernstein, Du Yun, Zhou Long, and current BMF artistic director Shuang Zou, moderated by music critic Ken Smith.
