February 7, 2025 — For the ninth edition of Asia Arts Game Changer Awards India, Karachi LaJamia receives the Asia Arts Future (South Asia) Award. This award recognizes Shahana  Rajani and Zahra Malkani’s anti-institutional, nomadic and pedagogical project; centering the city of Karachi, they practice modes of artistic resistance by collaboratively developing site-specific courses, nurturing indigenous solidarities and creating immersive exhibits for their research.
