Talking Dreams: A Conversation With Jordan Nassar

On June 26 on Asia Society's Instagram, Triennial artistic director Boon Hui Tan spoke with artist Jordan Nassar for Talking Dreams, our series of Instagram Live conversations with Asia Society Triennial artists. The discussion covered a wide variety of topics related to Nassar's art, creative inspiration, and work with embroiderers in the artist's ancestral home of Palestine. If you missed the Instagram Live broadcast, we've embedded the full conversation here.

Nassar took us into his New York City studio and showed us sneak previews of new work that will be shown this fall. He spoke extensively about his creative process and collaboration with Palestinian craftswomen who work together on his intricately embroidered pieces. Thank you to everyone who tuned in live, and to all our supporters watching now.

Save the date for our next Instagram Live conversation on Thursday, July 16 with Vibha Galhotra. More details to come!
