Spotlight Taiwan: Taste of Taiwan
VIEW EVENT DETAILSUnfortunately, tickets are sold out and no longer available.
A small island with a big food culture, Taiwan is best known for its xiaochi, or snack food. To the Taiwanese, snack food is not defined in the American sense of chips and cookies; it’s everything sold at the many famous markets throughout the island, including well-known Taiwanese specialties like pineapple cake, bubble tea, and pork belly buns.
Asia Society Texas Center will collaborate with local restaurants and vendors to create Taste of Taiwan, a program that explores the vibrancy of Taiwanese street cuisine. Enjoy small bites, snacks, and libations from our cash bar at this only-in-Houston event!
Featured Dishes: Pork Belly Buns, Sticky Rice, Daikon Cake, Vegetarian Oyster Omelets, and more.
Culinary Partners:
