VIEW EVENT DETAILS

Distinguished Leaders on Asia

Asia Society Texas Center launches our Distinguished Leaders on Asia series with two of this country's most respected statesmen.

Dr. Henry A. Kissinger, 56th Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, makes a rare Houston appearance to share his singular perspective on topics ranging from U.S.-Sino relations to the current strategic "pivot to Asia."

Joining him in this fascinating conversation is James A. Baker III, the 61st Secretary of State, whose unique vantage point on successful leadership during times of crisis is sure to deepen our understanding of the evolving role statecraft plays in the modern world. The conversation will be moderated by Andrew H. Card, Jr., the 21st White House Chief of Staff.

Please join us for a remarkable evening with two men at the center of some of the most consequential foreign policy matters of the past half-century.
