Join the talented musicians from MoKo Musik in a musical voyage through Korea’s profound history and culture to its dynamic future. Showcasing traditional Korean and western instruments, the concert offers unique musical compositions featuring the spirit of modern Korea, music from the Silk Road Ensemble, and the premier performance of a newly commissioned composition. The reception preceding this special performance is underwritten by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston.

About MoKo Musik

MoKo Musik (Modern Korean Musik) is an international musical ensemble that seeks to showcase Korean history and culture through an innovative blend of Korean and classical instruments. MoKo Musik is comprised of accomplished musicians of Korean heritage or interested in performing and collaborating with Korean traditional music.

The Korean-American Society of Houston (KASH) is the proud organizer of this performance. As a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Korean culture to encourage deeper interaction between the Korean-American Community and the greater public, KASH achieves its mission by hosting events that support local businesses, facilitate professional networking, and showcase the arts.
