Introduction to Japanese Language and Culture (Part II)

Introduction to Japanese Language and Culture

Asia Society Texas Center is pleased to announce our new Japanese Language and Culture classes for adults wanting to learn the Japanese language through a beginner course.

In this two-part introductory course, learn the basics of Japanese language and culture. Study Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji, and learn the differences between the different writing systems. Learn greetings, introductions, grammar, and vocabulary. Enrich your language study by taking a dive into the culture to expand your appreciation and understanding of Japanese customs. Have fun and build a foundation for further study while developing valuable cross-cultural skills. No prior knowledge of Japanese language is required.

Materials for the course will be provided. In this second part, students continue their course of study to build on what they learned in Part I.
