About Dance for Asian America (DAA)

Dance of Asian America (DAA) was established in 2001 to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of China through authentic Chinese dance. In doing so, DAA sustains traditions, builds international ties, educates Houstonians in cross-cultural understanding, and fosters new generations of professional artists. DAA’s programming is organized around public performances, educational programs, community outreach and professional training. DAA reaches 50,000 people annually through city-wide performances, educational programs for youths and community events. www.danceaa.org
