Docent Tours of 'Eternal Offerings: Chinese Ritual Bronzes'

Join us for your last chance to experience our Eternal Offerings: Chinese Ritual Bronzes exhibition with a personalized, guided tour by our experienced docents.
Exploring the ritual significance of ancient Chinese ritual bronzes, this exhibition sheds new light on innovations of form and ornamentation, and the advanced techniques of casting these stunning objects dating from the Shang to the Han Dynasties (1600 BCE – 220 CE). Bronze designs influenced other art forms in China, and later examples in jade, blue and white ceramics, and cloisonné will also be featured.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, additional policies and procedures are in place to protect the health and safety of our guests, staff, and volunteers. Each in-person tour is limited to 10 participants. All participants and docents are required to wear masks, and physical distancing of 6 feet or more between parties is required inside the building. Guests exhibiting any signs of illness are required to exit the building and asked to return on a future date. Complimentary masks are provided to guests without their own.
