About Oriental Arts Education Center
Founded in 2010 by Director Li Xu, the Oriental Arts Education Center (OAEC) was created with a vision to collaborate with Houston’s vibrant arts community, offering high-quality education in Eastern arts and building a platform that bridges and preserves the rich cultures of the East and West. Today, OAEC is proud to have expanded to three locations: Southwest Houston, Sugar Land, and Katy.
OAEC’s teaching approach is truly one-of-a-kind, seamlessly blending Eastern and Western styles. This fusion has led to the creation of many breathtaking works of choreography. Thanks to its exceptional stage presence and outstanding teaching results, OAEC has been honored once again with the “Outstanding Choreography Award” and “Best Dance Studio of 2024” at the Nexstar National Competition, as well as the “Outstanding Dance School 2025” award at YAGP Houston!
