Eat, learn, and play at Asia Society Texas' annual festival!
Celebrate the rich diversity of Houston’s Asian and Asian American communities through performances, art-making activities, food, live demonstrations, and more.
Embark on an adventure through Asia, using our passport to explore different regions' traditions, cultures, and food! Interact with a dragon boat display on our front lawn, tour Asia Society Texas' exhibition Hung Hsien: Between Worlds, and enjoy a performance in our theater!
This event is FREE and open to the public; registration is required for building entry. Food and drink will be available for sale. Theater performances are ticketed ($12; 35% discount for AST members).

Free Exhibition Admission

Hung Hsien: Between Worlds celebrates the life and artistic legacy of pioneering artist Hung Hsien, one of the most important yet underrepresented contributors to the development of modern ink painting. Throughout her artistic career, Hung Hsien has emphasized personal expression and individuality, resulting in a distinctly celestial form of modern ink painting that drifts effortlessly between landscape and abstraction.

Day-Of Information
Our AsiaFest 2025 festival is rain-or-shine.
Parking and Transportation
Paid parking ($10) is available in our lot across Southmore Boulevard. Entrances are located on Caroline Street and Austin Street. Bicycle racks are available in our parking lot for no cost.
Public transit is also available: Asia Society Texas is a five-minute walk from the Museum District METRO Rail Station (Red Line).
When You Arrive
All guests must check in at our tent before entering the building. Building entry is enforced.
No food or strollers inside the building. There will be outdoor eating areas where guests can enjoy food; stroller parking is located outside the front entrance
About AsiaFest
AsiaFest is the Asia Society Texas Center’s free festival displaying the vibrancy of Asian culture, creativity, and cuisine in Houston. Since 2015, guests have joined us for an international bazaar, performances, arts and crafts, fusion food, live demonstrations, and more.
