HOUSTON, November 15, 2014 — More than 500 people attended the 2014 Huffington Award Luncheon honoring ExxonMobil Chairman and CEO Rex W. Tillerson on October 23. During his conversation with former Chief of Staff Andrew H. Card, Tillerson discussed the need to eliminate economic sanctions and remove the ban on crude exports. He also stressed that greater international economic interdependency would help encourage more peaceful resolution of international conflicts.

Following the program, Card held a private Q&A session with high school and university students to discuss his career at the White House, foreign policy, and important education initiatives shaping the country.

The 2014 Huffington Award Luncheon was made possible by ExxonMobil, Harvey Builders, and other generous supporters.
