A Conversation with Political Scientist Dr Manali Kumar
ZURICH, June 5, 2024 — In this Talk at the Library, Dr. Manali Kumar, political scientist and editor-in-chief of 9DASHLINE, explores the role of national identity in India's democratic backsliding and discusses the recent election results. Dr Manali Kumar is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer at the University of St Gallen. Her research focuses on India’s national identity and interests as a rising power, as well as the value of prudence for making decisions under uncertainty. She is the Editor-in-Chief of 9DASHLINE, an independent blog focusing on developments across the Indo-Pacific, and has a PhD in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
