Gen A: Roundtable with Lira Low
VIEW EVENT DETAILSFor the final Gen A Roundtable of the year, we're thrilled to welcome Lira Low as she shares her expertise in conflict resolution, mediation, and leadership coaching. Join us for a discussion on how trauma-informed approaches and intercultural understanding can build resilience, resolve conflicts, and create meaningful impact in business, family, and leadership.
Lira Low is a founder and leader in conflict resolution, mediation, trauma expertise, and conflict coaching for business families, companies, and executive leadership.
With a background in career diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore) and private diplomacy, she specialized in international armed conflict mediation with the Geneva-based Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) as well as trauma and mental health support in private counseling practice before pioneering trauma-informed mediation at HD and then founding her leadership advisory company The Mencius Advisory based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Being a multi-linguist and having lived on four continents - Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe, she draws on intercultural understanding and more than 14 years of experience to provide strategic counsel and training in conflict management, peacebuilding, leadership, and group coaching, as well as mediation and mental wellbeing services to diverse clients around the world in the corporate, humanitarian and family business fields such as ODI, Swisspeace and the Family Business Network.
As the third generation of a family business herself, she serves the rising next-generation members of family businesses, offering training and advisory coaching focused on well-being, resilience, and impactful leadership. This brings together her conflict resolution skills, therapy practice, and multicultural fluency to facilitate sensitive conversations that produce healing paths and life-changing results within a safe space. Her expertise works at complementary levels, promoting healthy families and family businesses that start with the personal inner work of the individual, aiming to preserve relationships and family values in successful legacy planning, and enhancing ease, family harmony, and greater impact through the generations.
