A Conversation with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate José Ramos-Horta
Event recap
Former President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and Nobel Peace Laureate Dr. José Ramos-Horta joined us on October 26 at the University of Basel for an exclusive conversation, moderated by Prof. Laurent Goetschel, on human rights, peacekeeping and conflict prevention. By giving us glimpses into his work and life, he discussed the UN's peace-making limits and what possibilities exist for each country to secure peace and stability by building regional "blocks of peace".
