ASSC is proud to support student research on real estate issues which support USAREI's mission.
In May 2023 students from the University of Southern California enrolled in a comparative international course in real estate traveled to Asia to study the differences and similarities between markets in Singapore, Seoul, and the United States. They focused on the interaction between public policy (zoning and infrastructure finance) and real estate in these countries. They also examined the impact of trade frictions on international real estate markets.
Students completed a research paper on best practices in each real estate market. USAREI will award cash prizes to the best papers.
