Nancy Lee
Chief of Staff to the CEO and EVP, International Business Operations, The Walt Disney Company
Nancy Lee is the Chief of Staff to Robert A. Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company. In addition, she is EVP of Disney’s International Business Operations. Lee also serves as Executive Champion for IMPACT, Disney’s employee resource group for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
Previously, Lee was President of Aquarius Ventures, overseeing investment strategy and overall operations across a portfolio of global business ventures led by Mr. Iger before his return to Disney in November 2022.
Prior to that, Lee served as SVP, Commercial Marketing and Integrated Planning for Disney’s TV networks (ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel, National Geographic, FX, Freeform). Lee started her career at Disney in the Corporate Strategy and Business Development group, where she managed all aspects of key global strategic initiatives and M&A transactions, including the $4 billion acquisition of Lucasfilm.
Prior to joining Disney, Lee was at the New York City offices of Goldman Sachs & Co. in Technology, Media and Telecommunications investment banking. She began her career as a corporate attorney in Boston.
Lee served on the board of directors of National Geographic Partners from 2019-2022. She currently sits on the board of APIA Scholars, the US’s largest non-profit organization devoted to providing greater access to higher education for Asians and Pacific Islanders, as well as the Georgetown University Law Center Alumni Board.
She holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and a BA from the University of Chicago.
