Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick
Chief Marketing Officer, Los Angeles Rams
Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick joined the Los Angeles Rams as Chief Marketing officer in 2021. In this role, she is responsible for defining and cultivating the Rams brand, and serving as a key member in shaping the experiences and value proposition of the new SoFi Stadium and Entertainment District. Frederick is creating a modern L.A. entertainment experience for the next generation of fans heading into her second season with the team.
Frederick is leading the evolution of the Rams' business into a brand-centered organization with the development and roll out of new brand strategy. As CMO, she is responsible for helping the organization bring the Rams' brand to life and oversees various teams within the front office, including brand experience, creative services, guest experiences and demand generation, CRM and analytics.
Prior to joining the Rams, Frederick was Chief Marketing Officer of LiveNation Entertainment. In that role, she focused on establishing modern marketing excellence, ensuring LiveNation's was on the cutting edge of marketing strategies and technology.
Prior to LiveNation, Frederick was Chief Marketing Officer for TicketMaster, where she placed an emphasis on leveraging consumer insights and digital experiences to create effective consumer marketing with emphasis on growth and insights. She rose from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President before being named CMO.
Frederick is passionate about building brands, especially through modern digital experiences and has over 20 years of marketing experience across a variety of industries. Throughout her career, she has focused on growing brands and cultivating winning teams.
Frederick holds an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Strategic Management and International Strategy. She also holds an MPA in Macroeconomics and Negotiations as well as Conflict Resolution from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
