Asia Society Southern California in collaboration with the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) are convening a series of webinars and events on The future of Asia. This month we will host a webinar on “The Power of Parity in Asia.” Gender gaps remain large across the region, both in work and in society. MGI research finds that advancing women’s equality could add $4.5 trillion to Asia Pacific’s annual GDP by 2025, a 12 percent increase over the business-as-usual trajectory.
Join McKinsey senior partner Kweilin Ellingrud and MGI senior fellow Mekala Krishnan for a discussion on the actions that companies and governments can take to unlock the full potential of women, advancing their equality and boosting growth. Janet Yang, Governor of the Motion Picture Academy and Senior Advisor of Asia Society Southern California will be moderating.
