Dr. Vincent H.S. Lo
Founder and Chairman, Shui On Group
Dr. Vincent H. S. Lo is the founder and Chairman of the Shui On Group which was established in 1971. The Group is principally engaged in property development, construction and construction materials with interests in Hong Kong and China. The Group's corporate culture and long-term objectives are based on its commitment to quality, innovation and excellence. Lo is also the Chairman of Shui On Land Limited (SOL) and SOCAM Development Limited (SOCAM), both of which are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and the Chairman of China Xintiandi Limited (CXTD), a wholly owned subsidiary of SOL.
Chairman, Gaw Capital Partners
As Chairman and Managing Principal of Gaw Capital Partners, Goodwin Gaw has created one of the most respected and profitable private-equity companies investing in real estate. Gaw Capital has assets of $18 billion under management, stretching from Los Angeles to London and from Dalian to Danang. They include Hong Kong malls, hotels like the Standard High Line in New York, residential developments throughout China and a co-working space in Shanghai. Here in Los Angeles, Gaw owns heritage properties including the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, One Bunker Hill, and the Bradbury Building. He also developed the property that houses David Chang’s restaurant Majordomo, and invested in Neuehouse, a co-working space created in the former home to CBS radio and television.
Gaw earned a master’s degree in construction management from Stanford University and B.S. in Civil Engineering and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
Chief Executive Officer, Jamison Realty, Inc.
Jaime Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of Jamison Realty, Inc., the leasing and brokerage arm of the Jamison group of companies, which controls approximately 18 million square feet of commercial and residential properties throughout Southern California. The privately-held, family-run business has been one of the largest office landlords in the City of Los Angeles for the past twenty-five years.
Appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, she was elected President of the Board of Harbor Commissioners for the Port of Los Angeles in April 2018, the largest container port by trade volume in the western hemisphere. She also serves as a board member of the Los Angeles Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2028 among many other positions with civic, philanthropic, and industry organizations at the city, state, and community levels.
Earning both her Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Southern California, the Los Angeles native currently serves on the USC Board of Trustees. She is also a member of the Board of Councilors for the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, a Chairman member of the USC Associates and lectures regularly at the USC Gould School of Law, the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, and the USC Marshall School of Business.
Executive Director, Hang Lung Properties Limited
Adriel Chan joined the Group in 2010 and was appointed to the Board of the Company and its listed holding company, Hang Lung Group Limited, in 2016. His responsibilities include oversight of the Development and Design Department, Project Management Department (including its asset assurance & improvement team) and Cost & Controls Department.
Chan is also the chairman of the Sustainability Steering Committee and a member of the Enterprise Risk Management Working Group, among his other responsibilities within the Group. Prior to joining the Group, he worked in the finance, audit, advisory and risk management fields.
Chan holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree jointly awarded by the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Hong Kong University of Science Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
Managing Director and Board Member, Majestic Realty Co.
Roski joined Majestic Realty Co. in March 2007 as Senior Counsel. She was named Managing Director in September 2007 and is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations and growth of the Majestic Realty Co. portfolio. As a real estate attorney, she has handled many large, complex and innovating real estate transactions, averaging more than 18 million square feet of transactions per year.
A graduate of the University of Southern California and Loyola Law School, she completed extensive studies abroad, including graduate school in China. Fluent in Mandarin, Roski worked for the Chinese government with respect to real estate matters. A recognized expert in real estate law, she teaches continuing legal education classes to other attorneys through CLE International and Lorman Education Services.
Roski is a member of the Board of Directors for the California Science Center, a member of the Board of Leaders for the USC Marshall School of Business. She has been named one of the “Women at the Top” by Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and one of Bisnow’s LA Power Women.
Executive Director, UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate
Tim Kawahara is the founding executive director of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate. Kawahara is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Center, including the development, implementation and oversight of the Center's numerous programs and activities; internal and external relationships; industry and academic conferences and events; marketing and communications; media relations; student programs; fundraising; strategic partnerships; budget; personnel; and management of the Center's Board. Kawahara serves on all of the Center's committees, including Development and Membership; Public Policy and Community Outreach; Industry Outreach and Professional Programs; Student Programs; Research; and Curriculum. As the Center's founding executive director, Kawahara has guided the Center through a period of immense growth.
