What will the world look like after COVID-19? In the physical sense, what spaces will we occupy? What can we expect to change in terms of where we seek to live, work, eat, and play? Will residential and commercial space be reimagined to accommodate social distancing and the expedited technological evolution? Given the financial damage many retailers have suffered during the pandemic, including several storied brands declaring bankruptcy, what future lies ahead for traditional shopping malls? Smart cities and green urban planning, once efficiently designed multi-use properties – are these now just as desirable? What lessons and best practices can real estate developers, managers, architects and city planners, on both sides of the Pacific, learn from each other as we tackle the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic?

Join world renowned real estate developers Dr. Vincent H. S. Lo, Goodwin Gaw, Jaime Lee, Adriel Chan and Reon Roski for a fascinating look at how the pandemic is affecting this sector and the world we inhabit. Tim Kawahara, Executive Director of UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate, will moderate.
