The Future is Asian

Asia Society Southern California, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council and the RAND Corporation, will host Parag Khanna, the author of The Future is Asian: Commerce, Conflict & Culture in the 21st Century, for a breakfast talk. Khanna will address the irrepressible global Asianization taking place and its impact on economy, society, and governance. Moderating this discussion is Rafiq Dossani, director of the RAND Center for Asia Pacific Policy.

Khanna is a leading global strategy advisor, world traveler, and best-selling author. He is Founder and Managing Partner of FutureMap, a data and scenario based strategic advisory firm. He is author of a trilogy of books on the future of world order, Technocracy in America: Rise of the Info-State, and co-author of Hybrid Reality: Thriving in the Emerging Human-Technology Civilization.

Khanna's newest book, The Future is Asian: Commerce, Conflict & Culture in the 21st Century, will be available for purchase at this event.
