Deborah Jordan
Executive Director
Deborah K. Jordan is Executive Director of Asia Society Southern California. She joined the Asia Society in March 2005, when previously she was the Director of External Affairs and Events at the Milken Institute, a not-for-profit economic think tank. Working directly with Merrill Lynch's former chief economist Donald Straszheim, she was the executive producer of the Milken Institute's Global Conference, an annual event bringing together business and academic leaders from more than 50 countries, including Nobel laureates and Pulitzer Prize winners. Between 1998 and 2005, Deborah successfully built the conference into the largest of its kind in North America, growing the audience by more than 50% and more than doubling the size of the program. During this time she also expanded her role within the Institute to include developing relationships with other not-for-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area.
Deborah is a member of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corp., and an Advisory Board member for USC’s CIBEAR Program. Deborah received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University.
