ASSC had partnered with StoryCorps

StoryCorps is an independent nonprofit whose mission is to provide people of all backgrounds and beliefs with the opportunity to record, share, and preserve the stories of our lives.

A StoryCorps interview gives you the chance to ask a friend, family member, or colleague about their lives. For 40 minutes, you have the opportunity to ask the questions that really matter:

  • What are you most proud of?
  • What have you learned in life?
  • How would you like to be remembered?

At the end of the conversation you will receive a free CD copy of your interview. With your permission, a second copy will be preserved in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.

The Mobile Tour will be visiting Los Angeles from October 15 to November 13 at the Natural History Museum. As a community partner, Asia Society members and friends have access to early scheduling.
