On September 9, 2025, mark your calendar for the Asia Society Seattle Annual Event 2025, celebrating the center's 2-year anniversary! From thought-provoking discussions to captivating cultural performances, our Annual Events are designed showcase Asia Society Seattle’s critical and unique role in navigating shared futures between the U.S. and Asia, and among Asian diasporas in the Pacific Northwest. This year's Annual Event will cover the diverse topics of sustainability, technology advancement across the U.S. & Asia, policy in Seattle, and geopolitics' role in Asian art. This year's Annual Event will occur on September 9, 2025 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. PT at the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
Past speakers at our Annual Events include Bill Gates, Co-Chair, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, & Founder, Breakthrough Energy; Janet Yang, President, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; Daniel Russel, Vice President for International Security and Diplomacy, Asia Society Policy Institute; Lingling Wei, Chief China Correspondent, Wall Street Journal; Yasufumi Nakamori, Museum Director & Vice President of Arts and Culture, Asia Society; Steve Hobbs, Secretary of State of Washington; Consuls General representing the Republic of Korea, India, and Japan; and more!
