Shengyu Wang

Shengyu Wang is a Research Assistant at the Asia Society Policy Institute’s Center for China Analysis. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Virginia, with a focus on political economy and organizational economics of the state. He is also a part-time historian of the Communist Party of China and a researcher in Chinese elite politics. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
