Juliet Lee
Director of Strategy and Engagement
Juliet Lee is the Director of Strategy and Engagement at the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) in New York. Previously, she was the Deputy Director of the Forum on Asia-Pacific Security (FAPS) at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP), where she managed the organization's Track 1.5/2 conferences, next-generation initiatives, and grants on security issues in the Asia Pacific, namely U.S.-China relations, cross-Taiwan Strait relations, North Korea policy, and alliance management. She also held multiple internships in the U.S. State Department's Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs.
In 2024, Juliet was a U.S. delegate member of Strait Talk, a non-partisan dialogue and conflict resolution workshop on cross-Taiwan Strait relations. She has participated in the Japan International Cooperation Center's KAKEHASHI young scholars exchange in Tokyo (2024), the George Washington University Institute for Korea Studies (GWIKS) North Korea Program (2020), and National Committee on North Korea (NCNK) Knowing North Korea program (2019). She is also a Pacific Forum Young Leader, Korea Society Kim Koo Foundation Fellow (2018 cohort), and a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.
Juliet earned her M.A. in International Relations from New York University and B.A. in International Studies with minors in French and Chinese from the University of Richmond.
