The International Peace Institute, in partnership with the Office of the President of the General Assembly and the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI), invites you to attend a virtual conversation on “The Importance of Multilateralism in the Time of a Global Pandemic: Responding to COVID-19.” Join us online on the 2nd Annual International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace as our distinguished speakers share their views on how the coronavirus crisis demonstrates why global cooperation is needed now more than ever.     

Following the address of the President of the UN General Assembly, there will be a conversation between the Honorable Kevin Rudd and H.E. Mr. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande. The Q&A portion of this event will also be virtual.
