David Y. Chen is an Affiliated Researcher at the Asia Society Policy Institute's (ASPI) Center for China Analysis (CCA). At CCA, David will work on a project exploring past U.S.-China cooperation in countering transnational crime and the prospects for such cooperation in the future. He has also accumulated significant experience in public diplomacy and international affairs through various positions at the Charhar Institute, APCO Worldwide, and the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, among others. David received his B.A. in Political Science cum laude from Columbia University as a Saltzman Scholar. He is currently a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, Beijing.
