Brian Kim
Operations and Program Coordinator

Brian Kim is the Operations and Program Coordinator at the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI), where he assists Vice President Wendy Cutler and provides logistical and administrative support for ASPI’s Washington, D.C. office.
Prior to joining ASPI, Kim worked with the Korea-US Science Cooperation Center to help coordinate an inter-governmental research collaboration program that sought to bridge the gap between the two countries through engaging in scientific diplomacy. Kim also worked as a journalist at Reuters’ Seoul bureau, covering commodities and energy.
Kim holds a dual MA degree in Asian Studies and Korean Language from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, where he studied the South Korean demographic shift and its socio-political implications. He also received a BA degree from the University of California, San Diego.
